This program will inform Human Resources professionals about an underutilized benefit that can help veterans and help make their companies employers of choice at no cost.

The Veteran’s Administration pays veteran GI Bill participants on a scale depending on the amount of time they are enrolled in the program.  Qualifying veterans can receive monthly training benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in addition to their regular salary. This means that they can receive up to $1069.50 a month ($252.75 for Reserve/Guard) tax-free, on top of their regular salary! That's over $13,000 in cash benefits over two years, for training in an OJT or apprenticeship training program.

This program will outline the steps employers must take for their jobs to qualify for the program and explain the minimal paperwork required.
